Each pilot flying this aircraft requires a FlyerID.
It is required that you obtain a Flyer ID in the interest of flight safety and understanding UK drone laws. To receive your unique Flyer ID, press the button below and visit the CAA drone registration website and complete the free online theory test.

This rental drone will not be labelled with an Operator ID. It is your responsibility to affix your own Operator ID to the drone before any flight.

You can either add this aircraft to your existing policy or contact Moonrock Drone Insurance our preferred insurer for a quote.
For information purposes, a typical quotation is £10.00 - £20.00 for 1 week, covering up to £2,000.00 with no excess and 3rd party liability of up to £1 million including theft of goods.

Moonrock will issue you with three documents - a Statement of Fact, Policy Schedule, and Evidence of Cover. The Policy Schedule is the official policy document and proof of cover, so please upload this, as part of your rental application.
As part of the insurance application process, all rental equipment must be insured under the Non-Owned Electronic Equipment or Rented Goods section to ensure we can dispatch the equipment as quickly as possible.

As part of your rental application, we may require a copy of your passport or driving licence to confirm your identity, as well as a recent utility bill or bank statement matching the shipment address.
We accept photograph copies of the above as proof.
All documents are stored securely, and not distributed to third-party companies in line with Cyber Essentials.
We will not dispatch high valued hires without Proof of ID.
